Valentine's Day Floral Workshop | Portland, Maine Commercial Photographer

I’m excited to share that I’ll be photographing a Valentine’s Day Floral styling workshop at Petalage on February 18, 2022!

Michelle “will walk through a modest tablescape vignette and discuss her thoughts on the curation of items, placement, & incorporation of flowers to get a professional and editorial capture of your beautiful floral work.”

You can find more details on her site.

six things for the Photographer Mama | Portland, Maine Commercial and Lifestyle Photographer

With Mother Day’s around the corner I wanted to share a few items that I have enjoyed!

Commercial Photography - Portland, Maine

One of my favorite coffee table books. I probably look through this one once to twice a week. I always seem to find something new.

Polaroid - Portland, Maine Photographer

I love my Polaroid! This one has flash, rechargeable batteries, and self-timer. It’s a fun little gadget to have around!

Flowers!

These flowers will last mom a lot longer than the ones that you buy from a florist. I love working with clients to work on the right size print as well as framing. Reach out!

Wedding Photographer - Portland, Maine

Webb Photo specializes in wedding and family photography. Often moms are the ones taking the photos and rarely get in front of the camera. Book a session with Webb Photo and you’ll get mom in front of the camera with her littles.

While I have less serious cases this is the one I use for my commercial and lifestyle shoots. It has a built-in roller making it easy to get around quickly with a lot of gear. I’ve used it to stand on, sit on, and at times a table for your kiddo when you need to edit photos and he needs an art project to keep his attention. :)

A Night out!

With the last two years being spent mostly at home I found inspiration from my immediate surroundings. I’m now ready for some new experiences! I’m ready to go to the symphony, to travel, and to see art up close and personal again. Inspiration fuels my work and I feel my creative brain changing with these experiences again!

Ferro and Fawn | Portland, Maine Commercial and Lifestyle Photographer

Hi there!

It’s been a long time. Life got busy in August with sessions and some travel. Then we found out we were pregnant in September. Hooray!

Here’s a shoot from last summer for Ferro and Fawn. It was aetherial picnic-themed shoot with Sheena Ernest on the makeup and Mary Moniker on styling. Jaylassa and Eliza were back to help bring these products to life!

This was done with Thank You Design Co.

Hope you enjoy them and they bring you some inspiration for the warm weather that is just around the corner in Maine!

Flowers and Candy | Portland, Maine | Commercial and Lifestyle Photographer

My flower prints have found a new home! They can now be found at Flowers and Candy right in the old port of Portland. A little about the shop: “Objects of Desire & Essentials of Utility. Locally made Candy, Leather Bags, Hats, Clothing, and Accessories. Made in Maine to go everywhere.”

Eden, the owner, is lovely and has curated a lovely selection of items and edibles. Go check out her little shop!

Fita Preta Winery | Portugal | Portland, Maine Commercial and Lifestyle Photographer

We visited the Fita Preta Winery on a sunny afternoon in Portugal. I was a little nervous to be wine tasting with a toddler in tow, but they were unfazed by this (honestly most of Portugal was unfazed when we told them we were bringing a child). We spent the afternoon sipping on wine, learning about their processes, getting a tour of their facility and walking among some ruins they have on their property. It was a lovely experience and we can’t wait to go back one day.

Petalage Florals | CERAMICA CO | Skye's Artisan Bakes | Portland, Maine | Commercial and Lifestyle photographer

I got to spend the afternoon with some magical ladies who all make different things. Michelle from Petalage, Hannah from Ceramica Co., and Mackenzie from Skye’s Artisan Bakes.

The three girls are all friends and they invited me in to capture the work they create. I had a lot of fun talking and getting lost in my head while creating some dreamy images.
